We are currently hiring Substitute Teachers, Teacher Assistants, and Ongoing-Lead Teachers for our associated schools in the areas of Hollywood, Santa Monica, Culver City and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles for the current school year of 2023-2024 and the upcoming school year of 2024-2025.

We highly encourage college students (preferably majoring in Child Development) to apply but it is NOT REQUIRED.

Individuals with little to no experience or no units are welcome to apply; However, experience in Childcare or a Preschool setting is a PLUS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides support in the classroom/outdoor play to ensure a safe and educational environment.
• Assists the classroom in maintaining the hygiene and personal needs of the children.
• Assists with weekly planning and implementation of daily educational activities for children.
• Assist in preparing classroom materials.
• Assist in sanitizing and maintaining a clean environment.
• Makes observations (written and/or verbal notations) of the children.
• Supports the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child.
• Maintains good communication with parents and co-workers.
• Takes advantage of all educational opportunities for professional growth.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
• Must be flexible and able to work well with a diverse groups of people

Qualifications:

• No experience required
• Experience in Head Start, Montessori, or Child Care Center (Preferred).
• Minimum of 3 units in Child Development/Early Childhood or related field is a PLUS.
• A.A. or B.A. in Child Development or Early Childhood (Preferred).
• Teacher Assistant Permit (Preferred).

Requirements:

• Must have open availability (Monday to Friday FULL TIME).
• Part-time- must be available at least 3 FULL DAYS ***NO HALF DAYS.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
